Demolition
Secondary reduction and separation of concrete
The next step after the actual demolition work is the
secondary reduction and separation of the demolition
products.
The reduced material can be recycled and used again. In
addition to environmental issues, economic considerations
also play a role here, since the cost of dumping continues
to increase steadily.
For example, steel-reinforced concrete is separated and
reduced in one work cycle, using pulverizing equipment. On
large construction sites, this is often already done on site
and the material is transported away in separated waste
flows or it is reused on site.
