The holy city of Makkah in Saudi Arabia needs two new pedestrian tunnels for the thousands of pilgrims who will arrive there on January 6, 2005. Four big drilling rigs are needed to drive the 839m long tunnels and there’s not a moment to lose. Atlas Copco provided the equipment and hired the world’s largest air freighter to get it to the site. This is the exciting story of professionals at work and a race against time.
